Posted by: | CommentsFor a perfect impression of the architecture of the virtual art gallery please visit the videos chronological, starting with part 1. Since 2000 he started experimenting and producing 3D stereoscopic videos, first „interlaced for shutter glasses, later on also in „cross view pairs for screen projection. Having a lot of vintage prints and transparencies of his work as a fashion photographer, Mark Mender started 2006 to use his tools for computeranimation and editing to create his own virtual art gallery as website and DVD www.fashion-photography-gallery.com The gallery is a big modern building with realtime walkarounds, 8 slideshows and 5 Pavillions with special themes, like fashion photography in egypt, bali, tahiti and evern Alaska. Now there is also a 3D stereoscopic version available to be shown at vernissages and art exhibitions. An idea how it looks like in 3D you can see here as anaglyph videos for red/cyan-glasses. There will be more videos, like walks to the 5 Pavillions in the near future. The complete 2D full colour version you can find at www.fashion-photography-gallery.com …

3D Video (No Glasses Needed!) – Washing Out
Posted by: | Comments::: HOW TO VIEW IN 3D ::: Select how you’d like to watch the video from the “3D View Style” menu below the video. If you’re using 3D glasses then you’ll need to make sure have a good monitor with proper color settings. ATTENTION: Disney’s RealD glasses WILL NOT work with computer screens!!! To view without glasses (if you don’t have a pair of red/cyan glasses laying around) you’ll need to select either “cross-eyed” or “parallel”. CROSS-EYED: This is the method I use. It can be difficult for some people learn but it’s NOT impossible. It just takes a few minutes of practice. Then you can do it almost every time. You’ll need to SLIGHTLY cross your eyes so that the 2 videos overlap. You’ll know you’ve got it when you see 3 images. The 2 on the outsides will be kind of ghosty and the middle one will be in 3D (if you can see it without any blur). If you’re seeing 4 images then you’re crossing your eyes WAY too much. Trust me, you won’t really hurt or look half dumb if you do it right. Essentially, the right eye will be looking at the left image and the left eye looking at the right image. Again, it can be difficult to do if you haven’t had practice but you’ll be amazed at what you’ll see once you can! Try sitting away from the screen a bit and holding your thumb about half way between your eyes and the screen. You’ll notice that while you’re focused on your thumb, both of the videos will be overlapped. If the images aren’t overlapping then just adjust yourself so that they are …
